Lady HD is a bicoastal Psych-Funk duo formed in 2015. The band is a collaboration between songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Ciaran Wall and producer/drummer Dusty Moon. The two met in Los Angeles, both playing for the group Lemmo. When Lemmo disbanded, Ciaran returned to Philadelphia and Dusty stayed in LA. Their collaboration continued virtually, with Ciaran writing the songs and then sending on to Dusty for production. Drawing from the distinct influence of growing up in a Peruvian household, Ciaran conjures up words and sounds inspired by his unique upbringing. Dusty, son of American composer Guy Moon (Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon), uses his knowledge accrued from growing up in a studio to mix/produce the tracks and add a rhythmic backbone.
