THE NYC-BORN ‘ONE FESTIVAL’ MAKES ITS PHILADELPHIA DEBUT WITH WINNING ONE-PERSON PLAY!

The ONE Festival creates a platform in which the most diverse & creative solo performers have an opportunity to showcase their theatrical talent. Founded by director/producer Veronica Caicedo in 2006, the stage festival has attracted thousands of attendees, and has produced a steady win-streak for its finalists, who have gone to headline stages at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Greenwich Theatre in London, to name a few. Because of its success & growth, the ONE Festival has expanded to the City of Brotherly Love. Teaming up with multicultural & entertainment solutions firm AfroTaino Productions and Latino culture institution Taller Puertorriqueno, The ONE Festival-PHL lands with a splash and a bang, with a double-whammy opportunity of two chances to catch the winning one-person play, “Marlene Goes to Hollywood”, written & performed by Marlene Villafane. Whether it’s a Friday evening blockbuster (June 17) or a Saturday afternoon matinee (June 18), make sure you don’t miss The ONE Festival’s Philadelphia debut!
